Shirt Club is an indie punk band from New York that formed in 2016-ish when best friends Gary, Teresa, Nick and Max really wanted to start writing and playing music together. Since they were all still in college and went to different schools, they could only get together to practice on school breaks. After writing a bunch of songs in 2017 and practicing those songs a whole bunch in 2018, they did the damn thing and recorded their debut EP, “Likeable Ranger.” While they had written an album’s-worth of songs since they started the band, they are all super poor and ain’t got that full album recording cash right now – you know how it is.

Either way, they are stoked about their EP that they released this year and hope to finish recording their other songs AND start playing more shows in the near (?) future!

While the members of Shirt Club usually have a hard time describing their sound (cute rock??? friend-core???), they are mainly influenced by punk bands of the last decade or so along with other types of indie rock music. Nick is also very, very into House Music.
